Who we are
This page explains how refunds work for Worth (goworth.app) ("we", "us", or "our") when you subscribe to or purchase our services ("Services"). By subscribing you agree to this policy along with our Terms of use and Privacy page.
All sales final
Worth is a digital subscription. After payment you get immediate access to paid lookups and related Pro features. Because delivery begins right away, and except where required by law, all payments are non-refundable. By subscribing you request immediate performance, waive any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right where waiver is permitted, and accept that — except where required by law — we do not refund unused time, unused lookups, or change of mind.
How to cancel
Cancel anytime from Account → Billing (Stripe customer portal). Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep Pro access until the end of your current paid period (including the $1 intro week while it is active) and you will not be charged the next renewal. Except where required by law, we do not prorate or refund partial or unused days.
Intro week and promotional offers
The $1 first-week offer is a one-time charge at checkout. After that week, the subscription renews at the standard monthly price unless you cancel first. Promotional and one-time offers may be limited to new customers, cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so, and are non-refundable once redeemed, except where required by law.
Estimates and purchase decisions
Worth estimates are opinions for thrift and flip decisions — not appraisals, offers to buy, or guarantees of what an item will sell for. Except where required by law, we do not refund or compensate losses from items you buy or sell, marketplace fees, shipping, or any decision you make using an estimate. Every purchase is your decision and your responsibility.
Bugs and outages
If something breaks, contact us and we will work to fix it. Bugs, downtime, or an estimate you disagree with do not create a right to a refund, except where required by law.
Discretionary courtesies
Any refund, partial refund, credit, extension, or discount we issue is a courtesy, not a change to this policy, and does not obligate us to do the same again. We apply this policy uniformly and may decline a request without explanation to the extent permitted by law.
Billing errors
If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation), email us within 60 days of the charge from the email on your Worth account, include the charge date and amount (and last four of the card if you have it), and we will refund the erroneous amount. Requests after 60 days may not be honored.
Chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, email us first so we can resolve it. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account. We reserve the right to recover disputed amounts and reasonable costs to the extent permitted by law.
EU, UK, and other statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you would normally have a 14 day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By starting to use the paid Services immediately after checkout, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once performance has begun, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights under your local law, including if the Services are not as described. If a mandatory right applies to you, email us with the details and we will honor it.
Taxes
Prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, or bank fees unless clearly stated otherwise. Taxes we must collect appear at checkout or on your receipt. Refunds, where issued, are net of any non-recoverable taxes or fees.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The latest version will always be here. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the change.
